Wilton Kicks Off Holiday Season with Tree Lighting, Santa, Cookies, Latkes, Music, and MORE!

The Wilton Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Wilton are planning their annual Holiday Stroll for Friday, December 6 at 5:30 pm.

The town-wide celebration begins with the tree lighting at 5:30 pm. After Wilton lights up, children and invited to meet Santa as he is escorted by Wilton Fire Department on the Engine 5 ladder truck. Santa will visit children at the gazebo on the Town Green.

Many local businesses and nonprofits are joining forces to make sure this festive community event is merry and bright for ALL! Highlights include:

  • Holiday activities and crafts featuring FREE cookie painting with The Painted Cookie
  • Potato latkes sponsored by GOOD Morning Wilton
  • Music by Wilton High School Band and holiday carolers
  • Marshmallow Roast at Schenck's Island sponsored by Wilton Kiwanis
  • Wilton Library will be the "hub" for refreshments and the holiday book sale. And, don't forget to VOTE for your favorite entry in the Gingerbread House Contest!e.

All are provided free of charge.
