Wilton Library reschedules homeschooling program to Aug. 14

Due to the power outage affecting so many Wilton residents and surrounding towns, the following important homeschooling information program was moved to Friday, Aug. 14 from Aug. 12.

Friday, Aug. 14 Homeschooling - Is it the right choice for you and your children? from 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

With all the uncertainty of what will happen this coming school year, more and more people are exploring the idea of homeschooling. In this session, Linda Hincks, owner of Wren Homeschool Consulting, will help provide some answers. Linda will review the associated laws and guidelines, how to pick curricula for your family, how much time is required and what homeschooling life is like. At the end of Linda’s presentation, she will try to address as many questions as possible. Online registration required and space limited. A Zoom link will be sent the night before. Questions? Please email slauricella@wiltonlibrary.org. Supported by the Children's Library and the John and Patricia Curran Teen Fund. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road, Wilton; www.wiltonlibrary.org; 203-762-3950.
