Fairfield County residents are cultivating a new, sustainable lifestyle that is restorative and regenerative of nature and planetary systems. Immerse yourself is this lifestyle for 90 minutes so you can choose actions that are the right fit for you and your family.

“Cultivating a Sustainable Lifestyle” reveals the root causes of climate change and species loss, then teaches participants ways - both big and small - to change their lifestyles to live more sustainably every day. Our personal choices have a big impact on the earth and those who emulate our behavior.

This 90- minute webinar + Q&A is intensive and will be recorded for participants to view on-demand afterward. Content covers a broad range of sustainable lifestyle topics at a high level including:
  • Restorative and regenerative yards: unlawning, rewilding, removing invasives and planting natives for imperiled pollinators in zero emissions, synthetic chemical-free home ecosystems.
  • Radical food waste reduction, whole vegetable eating, and composting.
  • Sustainable home ecosystem management: zero-waste and closed loop practices.
  • Eating low on the food chain: the human and planetary benefits of eating a whole-foods, plant-based diet sourced from local farms that practice sustainable agriculture.
  • Battery electric vehicle (fully electric) essentials: advantages, financial incentives, maintenance, charging at home and away, integration with home solar and battery storage for blackout resilient homes.
