The Wilton Playshop hosts first virtual event: The Outgoing Tide on Oct. 30

Although not yet able to able welcome back their audience in person, The Wilton Playshop is pleased to be offering its first-ever streaming event: The Outgoing Tide by Bruce Graham.

This performance which was recently streamed live on the Powerhouse Theater stage in New Canaan, can be streamed into your living room on October 30th at 8pm.  Directed and produced by Deborah Burke, this event is presented in collaboration with The Town Players of New Canaan.

Starring Ted Yudain, Gail Yudain, and David Jackins, The Outgoing Tide is a drama that hums with dark humor and powerful emotion.  In a summer cottage on Chesapeake Bay, Gunner has hatched an unorthodox plan to secure his family’s future, but meets with resistance from his wife and son who have plans of their own. As winter approaches, the three must quickly find common ground and come to an understanding—before the tide goes out. Through twists and turns, deeply recognizable family relationships, and, of course, humor, comes this touching family drama that asks what it means to truly love someone.
