Write Out with us October 10 – 24!
Write Out is a flexible and fun collaboration between the National Writing Project and the National Park Service that encourages writers, teachers, students, and Park Rangers to write and share! Write Out invites you to join online meetups, discover stories, respond to writing prompts, and more!
The theme of this year’s event is Palettes, Storyboards, and Cadences and will run from October 10-24, 2021, bookending the October 20th National Day on Writing. Back by popular demand, Park Rangers from a diverse array of national parks across the country will introduce daily ‘Ranger Sparks’ video writing prompts. We are also thrilled to announce that Outdoor Afro leaders are joining Write Out 2021 and will host online and in-person events.
