See the stars from your favorite TV shows LIVE on stage! “Dancing with the Stars” pros Keo Motsepe and Anna Trebunskaya along with other celebrity pros from “Dancing with the Stars,” “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance” will bring you into the Holiday Season! American Idols sing Christmas classics, while your favorite celebrity dance pros will Salsa, Merengue, Paso Doble, Cha Cha, Tango and freestyle across the festive stage set!  Directed and choreographed by Jaymz Tuaileva from “Dancing with the Stars,” “Donny and Marie’s Las Vegas Christmas Show” and “So You Think You Can Dance.” Dance to the Holidays will be a new tradition for your family – a star-studded evening you won’t ever forget!

Add a touch of magic to your holiday season! A Ridgefield holiday tradition, Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance presents Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, December 10 at 7pm; Saturday, December 11 at 2pm and 7pm; and Sunday, December 12 at 11am and 2pm.  In a magical land where sugarplums dance and flowers waltz to tell the classic tale of a young girl and her Nutcracker Prince, Tchaikovsky’s soaring score, graceful ballerinas, wooden soldiers who come to life and a bigger-than-life Christmas tree will make the holidays bright for young and old! This event is part of Xfinity Family Series with Support from HamletHub.

Adapted from E. T. A. Hoffmann's story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" with a score by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, The Nutcracker is an enchanting ballet that has come to be synonymous with the holiday season. Also, synonymous with the holiday season in and around Ridgefield, Connecticut is the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance production of The Nutcracker. Invite your friends and family to see these young dancers create the magical world of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker from The Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies to the Grand Pas de Deux!  The Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance is nationally recognized as a distinguished, high achieving, pre-professional performing arts school that nurtures young dance artists in strong movement technique. They are dedicated to educating and encouraging students to become knowledgeable, passionate, thinking artists. After four past sold-out performances, Christmas with the Celts returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, December 16 at 8pm, part of the Xfinity Family Series with support from HamletHub, sponsored by Dimitri’s Diner and Gyro on Pita. The performance features the Ashurst Academy of Irish Dance of Newtown, who will be opening up for the show in addition to adding their lively step dancers throughout the production.  

First seen a PBS-TV special, the show has grown into a unique blend of modern Christmas standards with the spirit and sounds of Celtic roots.  The show will have you singing along to Christmas classics: ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen’, ‘Little Drummer Boy’, ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’; also ‘Count Your Blessings’, ‘White Christmas’ and John Lennon’s perennial ‘Happy Christmas’. The show is the perfect combination of ancient Irish Carols, contemporary Christmas standards, spontaneous humor and thrilling Irish dancing giving audiences a most memorable Christmas experience.
