Wilton Pride and Wilton Chamber: Pride-Adopt-a-Shop

In support of Pride Month in June, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to support a unique collaboration between Wilton Pride, local businesses and establishments in Wilton, and allies of the LBGTQ+ community with "Pride-Adopt-A-Shop".

Similar to the practice of painting store windows in celebration of the holidays, the Pride-Adopt-A-Shop program allows community groups to decorate the storefront of participating businesses with Pride-themed decorations and embellishments. Check out some of the decorations already featured by our local businesses: Hunan Cafe, Classically Cate, Bianco Rosso, CT Fitness Lab and Community Nursery School of Wilton just to start things off!

Wilton Pride together with the Wilton Library will host the Town's first annual Pride Festival on Saturday, June 10, from 11am - 3pm that will feature music, performing arts, exhibits, and more, including a scavenger hunt supporting the local businesses participating in the Pride-Adopt-A-Shop program. Stay tuned for more details on how to participate and show your support!

The Pride Festival is part of Wilton Pride’s “Be You” campaign, a series of events the group is organizing in collaboration with town organizations and businesses to celebrate Pride Month in June.
