Guided Tour by Wilton Historical Society Director Nick Foster

On Saturday, June 30th, from 11 am to 12 pm, the Wilton Historical Society will host a guided tour of its two new exhibitions – The Town Book: E. Boyd Smith’s 20th Century Wilton and Commitment to Community: The Lives of Francis Clerc and Francis Clerc Ogden.

The tour, led by Wilton Historical Society Director Nick Foster, will offer additional historical details, behind-the-scenes information, and discussions on themes of the exhibitions. How do museums choose objects for an exhibition? Who influenced E. Boyd Smith’s art? What can we learn from working with the deaf community? Visitors can ask questions and share their own connections to the history being explored.
