Metro-North Adds Extra Trains for Women's March in NYC Tomorrow

Extra Train Service for Women's March, Sat., Jan. 20

On Saturday, Jan. 20, Metro-North will provide additional trains on the Hudson and New Haven lines to accommodate passengers traveling to and from the Women's March being held in New York City. 

In addition, please expect larger than normal crowds at Grand Central Terminal during the day.

Two additional trains will be added to the morning inbound service on the Hudson and New Haven lines respectively.

Additional trains for the afternoon outbound service will be added on an as-needed basis.

The following inbound trains will be added:

Hudson Line:

  • 7:35 a.m. from Poughkeepsie, stopping at New Hamburg, Beacon, Peekskill, Cortlandt, Croton-Harmon, Harlem-125th Street, and arriving at Grand Central Terminal at 9:22 a.m.
  • 8:35 a.m. from Poughkeepsie, stopping at New Hamburg, Beacon, Peekskill, Cortlandt, Croton-Harmon, Harlem-125th Street, and arriving at Grand Central Terminal at 10:22 a.m.

New Haven Line:

  • 7:40 a.m. from New Haven, stopping at West Haven, Bridgeport, Fairfield Metro, Fairfield, Westport, South Norwalk, Stamford, Harlem-125,  and arriving at Grand Central Terminal at 9:38 a.m.
  • 8:40 a.m. from New Haven, making stops at West Haven, Bridgeport, Fairfield Metro, Fairfield, Westport, South Norwalk, Stamford, Harlem-125, and arriving at Grand Central Terminal at 10:38 a.m.
