Wilton Town Ordinances Require Valid Permits for Vendors

Wilton Police Vendor / Solicitor Permit Reminder

As the warmer seasons approach us, we begin to see an increase in solicitors, vendors, and food trucks in town. A reminder that Wilton Town Ordinances require that each person that offers goods for sale must have a valid permit issued by the Wilton Police Department.

Each person wishing to participate in such sales must submit an application to the Wilton Police Department with applicable fees and documents. That these applications should be submitted at least ten business days prior to the need for such permit. Permits are valid for one calendar year from date of issue.

Permits must be worn at all times during sales and holders must obey all regulations of the permit to include the hours of day permitted to sell.
