Wilton Police Captain Rob Cipolla Reads Children's Book, Connects with Communty

Wilton Police Captain Rob Cipolla took to social media to let Wilton know how much officers miss seeing and interacting with residents, especially the young members of the community. In order to maintain engagement with the community, Wilton Police officers will take a turn reading a children's story and stream it on Facebook and Twitter.

"This will give you a chance to meet some of the officers and see different parts of our building," said Cipolla, who kicked off the initiative by reading, "What Do You Do With a Problem?" (a #1 New York Times Best Seller).

"With all the recent shutdowns of schools, libraries, and businesses we wanted to take this moment to simply read a book to our younger viewers out there during lunch," Cipolla said.

You can view the video here. "We hope it gives parents a moment to prep lunch and kids a few moments of downtime before they nosh! If you have kids at home, hit play and share it with your family and friends."
