Winter Storm Warning - 12 to 18 inches of Snow Expected for Wilton

The National Weather Service is predicting that our area will be affected by a major winter storm tonight, Sunday, January 31 into Tuesday, February 2 with heavy snow and strong winds. 
 
Much of the Region – 12-18” of snow likely, 18-24” possible. View weather maps/graphs HERE.
 
 Snowfall rates: 1-3”/hr possible Monday evening
 2-5” of snow possible by Monday morning commute for NYC/NJ metro
 Temperatures: Upper 20s to Lower 30s for city/coast. Lower to mid 20s for Interior.
 
Impacts:
 Difficult to Impossible travel late Monday into Monday evening
 Scattered downed tree limbs and power outages possible.
 Blizzard conditions possible at times Monday into Monday night for city/coast.
 
Timing:
 Snow develops late this evening into tonight.
 Heavy snow Monday into Monday evening
 Periods of light to moderate snow late Mon Night into Tue.
