In this week's episode of Life in a Bottle, Ancona's Wine Director Codey Foster sips and chats about 2018 Liquid Farm “Dandi” Sauvignon Blanc, Central Coast California.
Codey's notes:
The first bottling of LF Sauvignon is a tightly-woven fabric of Meyer lemon, citrus oil, tangerine, grapefruit skin, macoun, and wafts of salinity, flinty matchstick, and crunchy herbs. On the palate--true to LF form--there is some richness here, brought in to perfect balance by bright acids, and pure, concentrated Liquid Farm mineral extract. The finish is long and I can't help but be reminded classy white Bordeaux. It's fun to see James' take on this classic international variety. This is indeed outstanding Sauvignon Blanc 12.5%
