The National Weather Service is predicting a significant rain event for tomorrow, Wednesday, September 1 and Thursday, September 2 as the remnants of Ida move through the region.
Widespread rainfall of 3-5 inches is expected. The heavy rain over saturated soils will likely lead to flash flooding, according to NWS.
