The following, courtesy of Town of Wilton, is an interim update on the progress of the evaluation and restoration of the Wilton High School Stadium track and Stadium and Lilly turf fields.
Lilly field has been evaluated. The field has lost a sizable amount of infill but is safe and playable. Lilly field is now open for use. Please schedule usage through Parks and Recreation. Please note that until additional infill is applied, players may experience a slower ball roll.
The Stadium track and the Stadium field surfaces have been evaluated. An evaluation of the infiltration system is pending. Clean-up of the field began this afternoon. The track and the field will remain closed throughout the restoration.
We will provide an update tomorrow with the details of the restoration work plan and an estimated timeline.
