Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Women in Service
Do you know women who served in the US military during WWII?
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of military women veterans, the Connecticut Veterans Service Organizations are planning to host an awards ceremony, celebrating and honoring all World War II women Veterans.
"We are asking for support in locating and identifying those women who served as part of the United States military during WWII," they explain.
Should you know a women veteran, please fill out this Wartime Service Medal application or this Posthumous application for Connecticut Service members and Veterans Registry.
Any questions, please feel free to call Jamie DePaola at 860-985-2064 or Sal Sena, Sr. at 860-614-6188.
