Wilton Police have announced that due to higher than expected enrollment, the "Race4Chase Kids' Tri Program" is in need of 26 gently used bikes for kids ages 6-14, RIGHT NOW!
Sponsored through donations to the Riverbrook Wilton Family YMCA, the 6 week program allows children who would otherwise be unable, to discover the sport of triathlon. The program honors Chase Kowalski, lost in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
The Wilton Police Department is working in conjunction with Realty Seven to collect bicycles that will be given to the program NOW. We are looking for bikes in good working condition appropriate for kids aged 6-14. Bikes with TRAINING WHEELS are especially needed.
Bikes may be dropped off at the WILTON POLICE DEPARTMENT, 240 DANBURY RD, WILTON, CT 06897
