The Riverbrook Regional YMCA Aquatic Department has openings!
Positions Available
~ Part-Time Lifeguard: responsible for monitoring the pool facilities for potential hazards or unsafe conditions, providing first aid to patrons, and all other duties as necessary or required. Available shifts from 5am-10pm Monday - Sunday.
Requirements: 16 years or older, Lifeguard Certification (employment class September 29-30th for those not certified but would like to be)
~ Part-Time Swim Instructor: Provide swim lessons private or group to all levels and abilities based on YMCA standards and program requirements. Available shifts from 3-6pm Monday-Friday, 9-1pmSaturday.
Requirements: 16 years or older, must have knowledge of all four competitive strokes.
~Part-Time Aqua Aerobics Instructor: expected to choreograph exercise sessions to include a warm up, aerobic exercise, cool down and stretch. Instructors also select appropriate music for each stage in the workout. Beyond creating an exercise routine, instructors must be able to effectively explain and demonstrate proper technique for each individual exercise
Requirements: 16 years or older, must have Aqua Aerobics Certification, CPR and First Aid.
