Great Start for the Wilton Y Wahoos!

The Wilton Y Wahoo swimmers began their Short Course season with some very impressive swims at the October Age Group Qualifier at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, Connecticut.  Despite a few practice cancellations in the week leading up to the meet, the Wahoos remained steadfast in their competitive pursuit against nine other area teams. Several Wilton Y Wahoo swimmers had top 12 finishes.

As a charitable organization, the Wilton Family YMCA is focused on youth development and seeks to nurture the potential of all children and teens. The Y’s nationally acclaimed swim teams help kids to develop their endurance, skill, physical ability and mental stamina through a supportive and wholesome social outlet that encourages excellence, teamwork and camaraderie.
