Breaking News: Ridgefield Police Report Explosive Device at Tackora Trail Home

Disturbance ends with Weapons Charges

On 03/28/2019 at approximately 12:30 am the Ridgefield Police responded to a disturbance at 180 Tackora Trail. As a result of the disturbance, officers arrested Mr. Mark Albin, 49, for Disorderly Conduct. Subsequently, officers removed firearms from the home for safekeeping.

During the removal of those firearms, officers discovered illegal firearms, high capacity magazines, and an explosive device. Ridgefield officers contacted the Connecticut State Police Bomb Squad to remove the explosive device and make it safe. Mr. Albin was held on a $100,000 bond, and appeared in Danbury Superior Court on 3/28/19 at 10:00 am.

  • Possession of Assault Weapon (16 counts)
  • Possession Unregistered High Capacity Ammunition Magazines (76 counts)
  • Possession of Silencer (6 counts)
  • Manufacture of Bombs (1 count)
