Wilton High School Seniors, Dance and Spell!

Wilton High School Theater continues its programming with the Tony & Drama Desk award winning musical-comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The cast of WHS 2020 seniors magnify their inner children onstage in this quirky coming of age musical about a regional spelling bee. Directed by Kathryn Luckstone with music direction by Anna DeMasi with assistant direction by WHS Junior Ryan Lynn and choreography by WHS Senior Sasha Sypher.

The tale of several socially awkward youngsters finding joy, heartache and a purpose in competing at the regional spelling bee features a score by William Finn and a book by Rachel Sheinkin. In addition to the hilarity of victory and agony of defeat each performance includes four audience participants joining the cast onstage in spelling spontaneity. Don’t miss this musical theater gem and the chance to see the class of 2020 come together to display their artistic and academic talents.
