Wilton CERT met with students in their Disaster Preparedness class today where they learned about fire safety, fire suppression, utility controls, radio communications and our various CERT equipment.
Wilton CERT explained, "They got to put out small fires and also got the chance to escape an unfamiliar room while blindfolded, simulating what it would be like to escape a smoke-filled room when you can't see your own hand in front of your face."
