The Prospector Theater Gives Wilton Farmers' Market Something to Sparkle About

#Sparkleon at Wilton Farmers' Market

Prospects Suzie, Elizabeth and Loren were stationed at the Prospector Theater's gourmet popcorn tent at the Wilton Farmers' Market this week. Check out the photo showing the happy trio and the hot pink Prospector van, parked in the background as they wave at the camera and help Farmers Market customers.

Val Jensen, Theater founder and visionary, says that the Prospector Theater in downtown Wilton is set to open in the space occupied by Bow Tie Cinemas. The Theater, located in Kimco’s Wilton River Park shopping center at 21 River Road, will bring the sparkle, design, adaptive technology, and accessibility of the Ridgefield location to downtown Wilton.

The Prospector Wilton will be a four-screen, non-profit premium movie theater with the mission of employing adults with disabilities in an integrated and competitive work environment.

A boutique version of the mothership Prospector Theater in Ridgefield, the new theater will offer a wide spectrum of jobs for Prospects (the name of all Theater employees) designed to educate, engage, and entertain audiences of all ages, while employing a wide spectrum of individuals who are traditionally underrepresented in the workforce.

Renovations will begin in September 2020, with an opening near the end of 2021.

The Wilton Farmers' Market is open every Wednesday through October from noon to 5pm. Visit their website here to find out what's fresh.
