Creativity Connects Wilton: Meet Anne Stauff

Creativity Connects Wilton, made possible by LIFEWTR

What fuels a vibrant, connected and creative community? What makes people feel good about living in Wilton?

When locals share the creativity that they uncover in the nooks and crannies of their community it brings about connectivity and makes us all feel good.

Believe it or not, you discover creativity every day as you walk, shop, work, and play in Wilton.

Creativity connects us.

Meet Anne Stauff, community supporter, athlete, volunteer, SPHERE program leader.

Is there an organization in town that makes you feel good?

An organization in town that makes me feel good is Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Jeff and Kristy Snyder, Sarah Simmons and so many others in town are an amazing example of Wilton coming together and doing good.  We have done several charity spin rides together and Jeff always rides the entire class in his lemon costume! I am always inspired by their mission and how they impact so many. I have been honored to be a part of their journey!

How does creativity connect you to Wilton?

Beth and Peter at Local Soul are doing an amazing job of bringing creativity to Wilton! They feature local artists, designers, etc and always have the coolest stuff in their store. They are also two of the coolest people I know! I could spend hours talking to them!

Jen Angerame and Megan Abrahamson are also two creative souls! I love their shops and I know they always have creative and inspired things-gifts for everyone and thoughtful items in their store.

Is there a person or organization using creativity to provoke change in Wilton?

The Prospector Theater is coming to Wilton! I know many Prospects (theater employees) personally and am so excited Val Jensen is bringing her mission to Wilton.  The Theater provides meaningful employment to adults with disabilities.  Arunus, who also works at Stop and Shop in Wilton, will also be working for the Theater at a Prospect.  Every time I see him at Stop and Shop, he tells me how excited he is for the Theater to come to Wilton!
