What do you want the community to know? Are there ways for the community to help you and other local businesses to prosper?
Yes, by supporting local businesses! All of us are figuring out how to adapt to these crazy times. Even though some types of transactions will always remain the same, business owners are suddenly forced into coming up with new and innovative ways to prosper, or even simply to ride out the crisis. And when this COVID pandemic winds down, some of these new ideas are most likely going to part of “business as usual” moving forward.
Are you offering any new products or ways for customers to purchase your products or services that are popular during this crisis?
Certainly! I am able to offer remote support via secure screen sharing - allowing me to solve many problems from home with no contact.
I’ve also been upgrading and setting up new computers from my place and then delivering them to the user.
Please share the ways your business is adapting to keep your customers and employees safe in addition to the standard guidelines.
In addition to taking all the usual precautions (masks, hand sanitizer, COVID tests for myself, and for my family), I’m becoming more flexible with hours, services, and special accommodations. For example, I’ve been having new computers for clients shipped directly to me and then delivering them fully set up to the client. I’ll also pick up computers and do the work off-site and deliver them back. Doing customer service tasks like that obviously takes up more time and entails more miles behind the wheel, but I’m happy to go out of my way in order to keep clients safe and have their tech issues solved in a timely manner.
