COVID Testing in Wilton on December 11

Save the Date-Wilton Testing

The Town is sponsoring PCR COVID-19 testing at Comstock on the morning of Friday, December 11th.  Details, including how to sign up, will be available later this evening. Any resident 6 months and older is eligible for testing. A doctor’s order is not required. Visit the Town of Wilton website for additional information.

We must have 250 registered participants by Monday, December 7th at noon for this event to proceed.  Payment of the vendor’s $90 fee must be made at the time of registration.   Insurance is not accepted.  Unfortunately, none of the vendors we spoke with, that we're willing to perform onsite testing, accept insurance.

Initial Vaccines

Today, the Governor announced the State expects to receive 40,000 initial vaccines on December 14th.  Initial vaccines will be given to medical workers and nursing home residents.  We are still awaiting details on any role Wilton’s Health Department will have in distributing vaccines.

Executive Order 9O

Today, the Governor issued Executive Order 9O, which allows for flexibility in hiring substitute teachers, allows organizations to sell alcohol for off-premise consumption as part of a virtual fundraiser and allows resumption of certain Judicial Branch requirements and deadlines.
