CT DPH reported no new COVID-19 positive test results for Wilton residents for yesterday. They also reported a favorable statewide positivity rate as detailed below. Unfortunately, CT DPH reported a new COVID-19 death for Wilton and an additional 29 deaths statewide. Every loss is difficult for our community, our state and family members.
Vaccine Information
The Town is now offering eligible residents a waitlist for first dose vaccines at future town-sponsored clinics. If you are a Wilton resident aged 65 years old and up and require a first dose COVID-19 vaccine, you may register here. If and when there is availability, town staff will contact residents on the waitlist. By offering the waitlist, we are not guaranteeing vaccines will be available. Availability is dependent on cancellations. Residents are still encouraged to make an appointment with a vaccine provider outside Wilton. Information is available on the Town’s Coronavirus Resources page.
Tomorrow’s Wilton Health Department/VN&H scheduled second dose clinic has been rescheduled to this Saturday due to forecasted snow. All Thursday appointment holders have/are being contacted by town personnel.
The following was provided by the CDC for Connecticut as of early yesterday morning:
- 738,191 vaccines administered.
- 509,165 or 14% of Connecticut’s population has received a first dose.
- 80.5% of doses delivered to Connecticut have been administered.
