Twelve TV’s, upstairs sport’s lounge, special lunch menu (complete with delivery) and a late-night menu, make Ridgefield’s newest bar & grill one to cheer about.
Tiger’s Den, located at 23 Catoonah Street (the former home of Sagi), opened a few weeks ago to the delight of fans young and old. Owned by sports fanatics and seasoned restaurateurs, Anthony Amato and Joe Attonito, this casual eatery is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 to 1:00 am and Friday & Saturday from noon to 2:00 am (giving an entirely new meaning to “late night” in Ridgefield!)
The upstairs sport’s lounge is your “den” away from home and boasts comfy recliner chairs (yes, they have cup holders), a bar, 4 TV’s and a large movie screen for your game-viewing pleasure. Note that this 2nd story sports haven is already booked for several sporting events so HURRY!
Chef Dave, former chef at Ridgefield’s Bissell House, creates a menu chock-full of healthy bites and football-fare. Apps like the Jumbo “Guinness-Whole Grain” Pretzel (6.95) with mustard sauce, and Angus Beef Chili Nachos (7.95) will get you where you need to go. For those seeking a lighter fare, there many salads to choose from including Baby Spinach, Cobb, and Greek. Of course there are sports bar favorites like wings, burgers, steaks and ribs.
