Why did you start your business?
I was an executive level consumer and digital marketer with Kraft, Coca-Cola, Disney and MTV for 20 years. As the client, I was always focused on how to deliver better marketing bang for the buck. Spend less money and get much better real results: sales and ROI. I felt digital/social was the best opportunity the industry had to make a real breakthrough but wasn’t seeing it. So I started experimenting and found a very new way to market brands using social media that actually WORKED. Not just a little better. A LOT better. I started Brand Cloud in order to share it with my chosen profession and give them what I always wanted when I was in their shoes.
Best selling product/service?
We have a “Starter Package” for new clients that gets them up and running with their own Brand Cloud superfan platform and delivers meaningful and measurable sales impact in about 3-6 months depending on the client. Essentially at break even in terms of our costs. It’s a turnkey program soup to nuts. We do as much of the program as the client will let us.
Brand Cloud currently employs either directly or via freelancers and independent contractors about 20 people. My daughter is a Junior at WHS and works part-time for us. I would LOVE to start a formal intern program that hired kids from WHS that are interested in marketing/social media.
