Why did you start your business?
"I knew in high school I wanted to pursue a career in dentistry and was inspired by my love of the sciences and fine arts,” says Dr. James T. Aris, owner of Advanced Dentistry of Wilton located at The Cannon House. “I’m inspired on a daily basis by the patients I’m fortunate to serve in this vibrant community. I truly love dentistry and helping people achieve and maintain their optimal dental health.” Dr. Aris has made a commitment as a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry to keep abreast of advances in the field for the benefit of his patients and the betterment of dentistry. Dr. Aris continues, “Your mouth is a window to your overall health.”

“I wish I could invent a silent drill,” laughs Dr. Aris. “But, what I love to do best, I’m blessed to be doing right now, working with patients to help them achieve healthy beautiful smiles. We offer compassionate care, and our team is determined to make all patients feel comfortable from the minute they walk into our unique and immaculate space. Patients come first at Advanced Dentistry of Wilton,” he says. “That’s what drives us to seek out world-class educators to bring back world-class dental knowledge for the benefit of our patients.” Dr. Aris has recently launched a continuing education school for dental professionals and is a PACE-approved provider with the Academy of General Dentistry.
“Preventative care is our first priority,” stresses Dr. Aris, “because, dental health is an integral part of a person’s overall health. Your mouth really is a mirror into the health of the body.” Since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Aris has logged over 1,500 hours of continuing education. Dr. Aris’ extraordinary commitment to education allows him to perform sophisticated procedures including full-mouth reconstructions, root canals, implants, and bone grafts. He is among the top one percent of general dentists in this country who have earned a Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry.
