Three questions with Gisele Tyler, owner of LashBrow Center of Wilton

Why did you start your business?

I opened the doors of Lash Brow Center (formerly Fairfield Lash Brow Center) in 2013 after working as a hairstylist at the D. Joseph Salon in Norwalk CT.  At that time, I was one of a handful of eyelash extension stylists and Lash Brow Center was the first dedicated eyelash extension salon in Fairfield County.  I became an eyelash extensionist in response to my mother's battle with breast cancer. The loss of her hair, brows, and lashes due to the side effects of chemotherapy were devastating.  The idea of restoring her lashes is what made me shift my career focus.  Eyelash extensions quickly went from a fad to a ‘must have’ and I am grateful to have been at the forefront of making this service available to the Fairfield County area.

I wish I could expand our business model throughout CT.  Our model, unlike other branded and franchised businesses, would give beauty professionals – cosmetologists, estheticians – an opportunity to own a Lash Brow Center.  I believe beauty Industry professionals are uniquely qualified to own and operate a lash and brow beauty business because they understand the value of fostering client relationships based on quality work, trust and outcome.

What is your best selling product/service?

Eyelash Extensions! It’s what we do best.  Safety, quality and artistry that is our commitment to our clients and our experienced and talented team continue to consistently deliver on our promise.
