Why did you start your business?
Damselfly Designs is a global event and floral design company. In 2017, we launched a “Shop Within a Shop” at the wonderful Village Market in Wilton. Our “Shop Within a Shop” concept stemmed from our observations of a changing flower industry. We wanted to find a way to partner with another like-minded local business and provide a convenient one-stop-shop for our clients. The fact that they can buy fresh, seasonal flowers as a gift or treat for themselves while shopping for dinner or home-necessities is amazing in our fast-paced world.
Best selling product or service?
Our best selling product is our vase arrangement. We offer custom make-your-own vase arrangements. Customers can select from a variety of vases and then hand-pick their stems of choice from our “Stem Bar”. The other option is to shop our unique or classic flower arrangements that are in the cooler and pre-styled by our talented design team.
The partnership with Village Market is an honor for us. Our goal is to provide quality products, flowers and plants by using imaginative design with the same customer-first approach to service and care that Village Market also subscribes too. We also partner with the Wilton Chamber of Commerce to provide flowers for the Random Acts of Kindness Day. We look forward to connecting with other local businesses in the future too.
