Wilton’s Parks and Recreation Department Offers School Day Remote Learning Program Beginning Monday

Wilton’s Parks and Recreation Department is offering a school day remote learning care program beginning Monday, August 31st through December 23rd.  The program, as previously announced, is being adjusted to accommodate the just approved remote learning schedule for the first week of school.

Located at the Comstock Community Center, the program is designed to maximize student safely.  The program uses the cohort model successfully implemented during this summer’s camp. Each cohort will include up to 8 students and one staff member. Each cohort will be assigned a unique classroom.

The program, which follows the Wilton Public School schedule, is flexible, allowing residents to register for a Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday session with the option of a Wednesday session.

Registration begins on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 through the department’s e-Trak registration system.

The fee for the two-day option from August 31st to December 23rd is $1,600.00 per participant.  The fee for the three-day option is $2,100.00 per participant. Fees may be paid in full or in two installments. Look for further details on how to register for additional days during the first week of school. Refunds will be provided for any unused days due to an expansion of the school’s in-person learning schedule.

Questions and comments should be directed to Wilton’s Parks and Recreation Office at (203) 834-6234 or emailed to kregg.zulkeski@wiltonct.or
