Weir Farm Art Alliance Presents Virtual Exhibition, Reflecting on the Pandemic

Weir Farm Art Alliance is proud to present the virtual exhibition, Reflecting on the Pandemic

The exhibition, featuring 73 Weir Farm Artist-In-Residence Alumni, allows us to highlight the wide variety of work produced by the talented artists who have participated in the program since it began in 1998, focusing on works created in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. Each Artist in this exhibition presents up to three images along with a statement where they reflect on their experiences over the past year, how they have been impacted by the Coronavirus, and how they have used their art as a means of persevering during this difficult time.

This exhibit is a companion piece to the recently launched video interview series, Weir Farm Artist-In-Residence Reflections; Creating During the Pandemic, where we are joined by AIR Alumni as they reflect on their experience while in residence, how the residency affected their future work, and the impact of the Coronavirus, including how creating art helped get them through the past year.

Through this exhibit and video series, we invite you to reconnect with Alumni Artists-in-Residence from 1998-2020 and be inspired by their work and experiences in response to the pandemic.
