Use a wonderful array of natural dried flowers, grasses, nuts, fruits, berries and cones to create an incredible and unique balsam holiday wreath at Woodcock Nature Center’s annual Wreath Festival Fundraiser. Celebrate & Decorate with friends during one of the evening sessions or come with the kids on one of the Family Days.
WNC offers 10 nights to Celebrate & Decorate with two decorating sessions each night; 6:30-8:15 pm or 8:30-10:15 pm. Gather a group of friends, come with a buddy or as a couple for 1.5 hours of decorating, preceded or followed by socializing in WNC’s warm and cozy pavilion, which will be open each evening from 7:00-11:00 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring their own food and drink to enjoy while decorating in the Nature Center or while relaxing near a roaring fire in the Pavilion. Purchase tickets for either the 6:30 pm or 8:30 pm decorating session. The pavilion opens at 7 pm. If you register for the 6:30 pm session, you will decorate in our Nature Center first and then head over to the pavilion to spend time with friends afterwards. If you register for the 8:30 pm session, you can spend time in the pavilion first beginning at 7 pm, then head over to the Nature Center to decorate at 8:30 pm. The pavilion remains open until 11 pm each night.
Come have fun with the kids at one of two Family Days which will be Saturdays, December 3rd and 10th from Noon - 4pm. All ages are welcome. The cost is $45 per wreath with an additional $10 discount on the first wreath for anyone who attended a Celebrate & Decorate Night. Family Day is an open house. Pay at the door; no reservation or pre-purchase is required (however, if you are planning to come with a large group, please contact WNC ahead of time so we can plan space and materials accordingly). There will be hot cocoa and cookies served!
