Three questions with Dr. Beckie D'Andrea, founder and owner of Wilton Dental Associates
Why did you start your business?
My dream was to have a neighborhood, family dental office like the one I went to as a kid growing up in Newark, Delaware. So many dental practices have become corporate so I am holding on tightly to our small town, family practice where we truly treat people like family by taking our time, connecting and going the extra mile.
What is your best-selling product/service?
We pride ourselves on NOT selling but being totally transparent with our patients, educating them about their mouth and the connection between oral microbiome and whole-body wellness. Our Hygienist, Amy is top-notch! Her patients come from miles around to see her because she is gentle, and thorough and makes a cleaning feel like a spa treatment! Our Airway/Sleep focus not only helps people with TMJ and is connected with high blood pressure, anxiety, depression and ADHD. Beautiful ceramic dentistry and very gentle!
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
We work closely with the Village Market! We are grateful to have patients that work there (Hi Anne! Hi Brian!) We get food from them for office meetings and events and their floral department is amazing for gifts. Connecticut Coffee & Grill is awesome - they are super nice - we have team lunches there and it is always yummy! We love Rise donuts and love to give them to our local little league players as an end-of-game treat! Good Morning Nails is our neighbor in our building - they take good care of us and always do a great job!
