Ally Bally Bee and all its Artists are excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the store in Ridgefield and would like to invite you to join in the celebration from September 8th – 11th!
As a thank you to all their customers, every purchase of $30 or more will receive a free gift made by one of the artists. The anniversary celebration will kick off on Thursday, September 8th with champagne from 6-9PM.
This popular Artisan boutique is stocked with handmade creations including jewelry, clothing, pottery, photography, children’s wear, accessories and so much more! With more than 120 artists represented at the store from the surrounding towns and 350 made in the USA products, you can find a handmade gift for any occasion and know you are supporting many small local businesses and artists.
Ally Bally Bee was started by Redding resident Morag Grassie when she was looking for a way to showcase her own work of making purses and create a community of local artists. “I’ve always loved attending craft fairs and wanted to create a brick-and-mortar version of ‘the best craft show ever’ that was open year-round,” said Grassie. “I had met so many talented local artists that it didn’t take me long to identify the 46 artists to open the store with.”
When you visit the store, you’ll likely be greeted by one of the artists themselves. “The store is always changing with new inventory brought in by our artists. Each shelf and display case tells its own story,” said Marion Unangst, store manager. “We started this great creative community that has evolved into friendships that will last a lifetime.”
