Wilton Board of Finance Encourages Residents to Learn More and Provide Budget Input

The Board of Finance is encouraging residents to learn more about the proposed FY2023 Boards of Education and Selectmen budgets and the proposed mill rate.  After doing so, the Board is asking residents to provide feedback in advance of their budget deliberations on the evening of Monday, April 4th.

Options to learn more about the proposed budgets and mill rate?

  • Review the submitted Board of Education budget here and submitted Board of Selectmen budget here.
  • Review the FY23 proposed mill rate calculation here.
  • Review the budget development documents on the FY2023 Annual Budget and Annual Town Meeting page here.
  • Read the notice and attend the in-person public hearing on the Board of Education budget on Wednesday March 23rd at 7:00pm at the Middlebrook School Auditorium. 
  • Read the notice and attend the in-person public hearing on the Board of Selectmen budget on Thursday, March 24th at 7:00pm at the Middlebrook School Auditorium.
  • Watch the videos of the public hearings when available on the town website the day after the hearing on this page.

Options to provide feedback about the proposed budgets and mill rate?

  • Complete the Board of Finance survey either 1online or  2-by downloading and depositing the completed survey in the box in the Town Hall front lobby or 3- by obtaining and returning a copy at the Town Hall lobby, the Senior Center or the Circulation Desk at the Wilton Library (as of Friday).   Responses must be received by March 31st.
  • Email the Board of Finance at boardoffinance@wiltonct.org
  • Provide public comment at the in-person public hearings on March 23rd and 24th
