Meet Annie Chochos, Board of Education candidate

Q: Why are you running?

A: I am passionate about our schools and our children's education. Serving my community has been essential to my life here in Wilton, from volunteering in my son's class as a room rep to serving as a Co-President of the PTA at Miller-Driscoll. I have enjoyed volunteering to help. Now that our son is older, I am eager to take on a more expansive role and am committed to engaging with our town's needs, wants, and concerns for our children's education.

Q: What are your goals if elected?

A: I will advocate for higher achievement and appropriate allocation of our taxpayer's dollars. I want Wilton residents to get the best return on their investments in our community and for our children to thrive in our schools. I will seek to collaborate with transparency and accessibility with fellow BOE members, administrators, and constituents. This is vital to having the highest quality standards in our schools.

Q: What is one fun fact about you?

A: I am a fraternal twin born on Halloween. Boo!!
