Possession of marijuana, no insurance, no license

On January 3 at 10:33 pm, Wilton Police observed Andrew Thompson, 27, of Norwalk traveling northbound on Route 7 approaching Wolfpit Road. The traffic light had changed to red for Route 7 traffic. Thompson entered the intersection after the light was red and other cars had already been stopped at the intersection. Upon stopping the vehicle, police noticed an odor of marijuana and approximately .70 ounces of suspected marijuana was located. Thompson was unable to produce a valid insurance card or license. 

MVA

On January 3 at 3:19pm, there was a MVA at 46 Danbury Road involving four vehicles.

Vehicle #1: driven by Deborah Rath of Westport

Vehicle #2: driven by Richard Ribisi of Norwalk

Vehicle #3: driven  by Alan Koves of Westport

Vehicle #4: driven by Andrew Frattallone of Norwalk

Frattallone was driving on Danbury Road when he attempted to stop due to the vehicles in front of him stopping. He began skidding while applying his brakes and was unable to stop and hit Rath.  Due to the impact, Frattallone's vehicle crossed into oncoming southbound draffic and struck Ribisi's vehicle on the drive side. Kove was traveling southbound and crossed into northbound traffic after he saw Frattallone's vehicle spinning in the roadway but the rear bumper of Frattallone's vehicle still struck the front right bumper of Kove's vehicle. Frattallone was issue a citation for Traveling Too Fast for Conditions,Failure to Drive Right, and Operating with Unsafe Tires. 

Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane

On January 3 at 9:30 am, Hunter Stanfield, 26, of Wilton surrendered at Wilton Police Department on a warrant issue by Norwalk Superior Court. The charges stem from a MVA that occurred on 11/23/16. He was processed and posted $5,000.000 cash bond and is due in court on January 13.
