The Wilton Police Department has arrested Jeffrey Jacobs (37) of Wilton, CT and White Plains, NY on an arrest warrant issued by the Norwalk Superior Court.
Wilton Police received a complaint from the owners of the NHL Boston Bruins complaining that the accused was misrepresenting himself as an owner of the team. The accused would then scam individuals to do work on his home or receive special favors under these pretenses.
On 07/22/2018, Jacobs was arrested in Duchess County, NY and waived extradition. He was transported to Wilton Police Headquarters and charged with Criminal Impersonation and after posting a $5,000 surety bond he was released and is due in court on 07/30/2018.
