Arrest – Enticement of a Minor
Mark Crowley (56) of Beverly, MA was arrested and charged with Risk of Injury to a Minor and Enticement of a Minor after a month-long investigation. He was being held on a $200,000 bond and will be arraigned at the Norwalk Superior Court on 10/26/2018.
In September of 2018 the Wilton Police Department received a complaint of a 56 year old male contacting an 11 year old female in Wilton via the internet. That the accused began to “groom” the juvenile victim in an attempt to obtain pornographic images of children. Subsequent investigation revealed the accused to reside in Beverly, MA and Wilton Police worked with Beverly Police to obtain arrest warrants and search warrants.
On 10/17/2018 members of the Wilton Police Department went to Beverly, MA and served a search warrant on the accused’s home. Electronic evidence was seized and the accused was arrested in MA and charged as a Fugitive of Justice. He was extradited from MA to CT on 10/25/2018 and charged.
