On Friday, April 9, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer joined HVSF, Boscobel, and Putnam County Leaders for a socially distanced conversation surrounding his extraordinary efforts that created the Save Our Stages Act (SOS), the legislation that will provide necessary funding for thousands of theaters around the country (including HVSF) to reopen. We are sending tremendous gratitude to Senator Schumer for ensuring the inclusion of this essential legislation in the relief bill. We were especially amused when he shared with us that he once landed a supporting role in a production of Julius Caesar -- as a senator.
