Slater To Host Food Insecurity Round Table Discussion In BRewster

Assemblyman Matt Slater (R,C-Yorktown) is set to host a roundtable discussion this Friday, Nov. 3, on food insecurity and ways to combat this issue in the 94th Assembly District and New York. As town supervisor, Slater created the Food Security Task Force in Yorktown as a way for pantries to share resources and data to make sure the town was taking the necessary steps to help vulnerable neighborhoods. However, food insecurity is still a growing problem that Slater and fellow local officials want to address so no family or child goes without regular access to food.
