The American Cancer Society in Putnam County is Stomping Out Pediatric Cancer

Cancer doesn’t fight fair at any age, but it is particularly devastating for children. Substantial progress has been made against some types of pediatric cancers, boosting survival for those cancers. However, there are still several types of kids’ cancers with low survival rates or no known cure.

With your help through the American Cancer Society's Gold Together campaign, we can change the odds, and fight back together. During childhood cancer awareness month, Gold Together Champions here in the Lower Hudson Valley area are raising awareness and funding the fight to end childhood cancer with a virtual Dino Fun run!

On your mark, get set, RAWWWRRR!
Find your best dinosaur getup, channel your inner T-Rex and run/walk/bike to support #GOLDTOGETHER, raising awareness and money for pediatric cancer during the month of September.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE Now:
  1. Sign up to become a #GOLDTOGETHER Champion or donate to an existing Champion- donate or sign up here
  2. Take the pledge to run/walk/bike, sharing your personal fundraising link. Don’t forget to challenge 3 of your friends to do the same!
  3. September 20-26: Grab a costume, or a Dino shirt, and run! Post pictures to social media along the way to show others how you’re helping to #STOMPOUTPediatricCancer
