Over 80 Films Presents at the 8th Annual VOB Film Festival

The VOB Film Festival will take place August 22-25 and August 30th to September 1st. The Film Festival will be showing over 80 independent films at various locations in Putnam County.  Ticket Reservations are highly recommended and can be purchased on-line at www.VOBFilmFestival.com 
 
August 22nd - 7PM - Opening Night
Bedford Playhouse - Bedford, NY
A beautifully restored theater hosts our opening night event.
 
August 23rd - 6:30PM - Dinner and a Movie
Arts on the Lake, Kent, NY
Includes a full buffet dinner, coffee, tea and dessert. Two full hours of independent film and an art gallery opening. Join us for a night of fun and meet some outstanding independent film makers. Reservations are required.
 
August 24th - Films at the Lake
Arts on the Lake, Kent NY
Full day of films at Arts on the Lake.  See our website for times and films.
 
August 25th - Films at the Lake
Films and film panels at Arts on the Lake in Kent, NY.  
 
August 30th - Sherlock Jr - Silent Film Series with Orchestra
Theater at Drew United Methodist Church
Come see the incredible stuntman - Buster Keaton solve the crime. The film will be scored by a live orchestra.  If you have never been to a silent film with orchestra event, you are in for a unique experience. Reservations strongly suggested.
 
August 31st 
Films at the Lake
Ryder Farm Shorts
 
We are at Arts on the Lake during the day and have a free film screening at Ryder Farm starting at 8PM. There is also a meet the film makers toast at 7PM. Reservations are required for the champagne toast event.  Film event is free and starts at sundown
 
September 1st
Films at the Lake and Sherlock Jr, Encore
Join us for a day of films at Arts on the Lake and an encore performance of Sherlock Jr. at the theater at Drew Methodist Church
