Family-Friendly Ride to the Farm Festival

Don't sit in traffic for this fantastic event - take a family-friendly bike ride on the North Country Trail from downtown Yorktown Heights to Stuart's Fruit Farm for their Fall celebration!

The oldest working farm in Westchester County is having a festival to celebrate its recent preservation. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 (rain or shine), Westchester Land Trust and Somers Land Trust will co-host a Family Farm Festival at Stuart's Fruit Farm in Somers. Admission is free and food will be available for purchase.

We will meet at Yorktown Cycles at 4pm and depart for the farm about 4:15pm. We will ride on the car-free North County Trail 2.7 miles to Granite Springs Rd. From there, the farm is 1/10th of a mile off the trail.

Bring a backpack, pannier, or other way to bring back any goodies you pick up at the farm and a lock for your bike(s) when we get to the farm. The return bike ride to the shop will be on your own timetable.

Yorktown Cycles is located at 1899 Commerce Street.
