VOB Film Festival Looking For New Films

The VOB Film Festival (VOBFF), Putnam County's Film Festival, is now accepting films for its eighth annual event.

This year's festival will include two full weekends of films and begin on August 23rd and run through Sunday, September 1st.   "We hope to screen over 80 independent films this year and have expanded the number of days to accommodate this anticipated growth," says Festival Chairman Bob Dumont.

The VOBFF will be bringing back its Dinner and a Movie event and continue with the Silent Film and live orchestra film series.  "I don't there has ever been a better time for Independent Film Makers to submit a film or attend our festival," Dumont continued.  Many events last year were sold out or at capacity and enjoyed some great attendance.  "We have been proud of the incredible growth every year and this year will be no different."

Every year the VOBFF has attracted filmmakers, actors, and producers from all over the United States and internationally.   Film lovers will have more great reasons to attend and experience great film and some of the beautiful features of Putnam County, NY

To submit your film, visit the website at www.VOBFilmFestival.com and click on the "Submit Your Film" button. Submission fees are lowest from now until March, so this is the most affordable to consider entering your film.
