Building a Resilient Westchester - Strengthening Youth and Families

Building a Resilient Westchester - Strengthening Youth and Families

Join us for this virtual presentation by Family Ties of Westchester, as we discuss opportunities for building resilience within youth and families during these difficult times. We will explore the concept of "trauma-informed" practices, offer practical tools for strengthening communication and interpersonal relationships, and identify critical local resources that can support youth and family well-being.

A question and answer period will follow the presentation.

This virtual program will be recorded and will have live captioning service available from a third-party provider. Instructions on how to access the program, which will be conducted on the Zoom platform, will be emailed to registrants prior to the program date.

Family Ties is Westchester County's only independent Family Peer Support organization. For more than 30 years, they have provided support, education and advocacy services to families affected by trauma, unmet behavioral health needs and other life challenges.  They promote the well-being of families through lived experience and on-the-ground expertise, in the belief that, with access to the right tools and resources, every family is able to thrive.
