The Best Path Forward for Our Health Care System

The NY Metro Chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) and The League of Women Voters of Westchester Health Care Committee will be presenting and discussing important issues surrounding the American HealthCare System. The following topics will be explored:
• The status quo with the Affordable Care Act
• The Proposed Enhanced and Expanded Medicare for All
• The New York Health Act : Legislation to enact a public single payer health care system for New York State
• How Covid 19 has shone a light on the shortcomings of our present system and how a single-payer system may eliminate these deficiencies.
